How to create a survey?

Creating a Survey on EZquestionnaire is incredibly easy and hassle free!
You can create your Survey, customize it, publish it and send invitations in no time at all.
All you have to do is to follow a few easy steps, which will assist and enable you to simplify and hasten your Survey creation process.

1. Become an EZquestionnaire Member:

The first step towards creating your Survey is to register yourself as a member of EZquestionnaire.
Click here or on the Register button on the home page to register.

2. Access the Create Survey Section:

Log in with your user name and password.
In the Control Panel, click on the Create New Survey to begin compiling your survey.

You can create your survey in 5 easy steps

  1. Create Survey – Enter your survey details and select a template.
  2. Add Questions – select your question type and add questions.
  3. Select your survey format (web-based, e-mail based or open survey, personalize your thank you text and select your survey accessibility (public or restricted)
  4. Preview and publish your survey. Finally,
  5. Send invitations.

3. Manage your Survey:

Keep track of your Survey and manage it efficiently by accessing the Control Panel, which contains all the tools required to manage your entire survey creation process efficiently.

 

How to customize surveys?

The members of EZquestionnaire have the power to fully customize their survey pages.
The level of customization differs slightly based on the type of membership the user has with EZquestionnaire.

The Premium and Corporate users can choose from a set of 10 pre-designed templates and have the privilege to create their own templates using their html code. They can also include graphics and images in their templates.

Basic Member

A Basic user has a choice of 5 pre-designed templates for his survey pages. The Customize Survey step is a part of the survey creation. Choose a template from the available set and click the continue button to go to the next step. You can view a preview of the template you selected.

Premium and Corporate Members

The survey creation process includes a Customize the Survey step, where you can select the template you like or create

If you want to upload an html file of your own, go to the File Manager and access the Surveys directory. You can create your own files and folders in this directory. Click the upload button to upload html files from your system. Access the HTML Editor in the file manager section to create your html files online.

The html files created and uploaded by you appear in the customize survey page under the html files list. Select an html file from the existing list of files and click the continue button to upload the html file to create your own template.

 

How to create your home page?


Basic Member

Unfortunately, this feature is restricted to users on the premium and corporate packages only.
Click here basic user does not have the facility to create his home page on EZquestionnaire.

Premium and Corporate Members

Premium and Corporate users have the facility to create their own personal pages on EZquestionnaire.

To create a personal page, access the ‘File Manager’ and go to the Home directory. You can create your own files and folders in this directory.
Click the ‘Create’ button beside the ‘Create File’ and ‘Create Folder’ fields to create.
Click the ‘Upload’ button to upload your created files and folders.

To upload your html code, graphics and images, click the ‘Edit image’. Then click the ‘HTML Editing’ link to include images and graphics. You can also select from a set of images designed for you by EZquestionnaire from the ‘Images’ field and click the ‘Add’ button to add them to your page.

Click the ‘Save’ button to upload your created files.

Then go to the ‘Home Page Setup’ page from the ‘Control Panel’ and choose from the existing html and image files. Click the ‘Update’ button to upload the selected files.

Corporate users have the option to include press releases to their personal pages. Select a title from the ‘Place Holders’ field and click the ‘Add Place Holder’ button to include the title on your home page. You can also decide the title, date and description of the press releases in the ‘press release details’ page. To do this select a placeholder and click the ‘Add Place Holder’ button. Click the ‘Save’ button to upload your placeholders.

 

How to find answers to your questions and queries?

Access our FAQs section for answers to all your genuine and repeated questions concerning EZquestionnaire.
You can send us your views and suggestions pertaining to the site by using the feedback form in the ‘Contact Us’ section.

How to send HTML invitations?

Premium and Corporate users have the facility to create and send their own HTML invitations to their survey respondents.

To create an html invitation, access the File Manager and go to the Invitations directory. You can create your html files and folders in this directory. Click the create button beside the Create File and Create Folder fields to create. Click the upload button to upload your created files and folders. To upload your html code, graphics and images, click the Edit image. Then click the HTML Editing link to include images and graphics. You can also select from a set of images designed for you by EZquestionnaire from the Images field and click the add button to add them to your page. Click the save button to upload your created files.

Then go to the Home Page Setup page from the Control Panel and choose from the existing html and image files. Click the update button to upload the selected files.

Select a title from the Place Holders field and click the Add Place Holder button to include the title on your invitation page. You can also decide the where to display the survey title and survey recipient. Click the save button to upload your placeholders.

How to manage your uploaded files?

The premium and corporate users have the power to manage all their uploaded files by using the File Manager.

Home page files

Access the Home directory of file manager to create, edit and upload the files pertaining to your Home page. Use the tools under the Action menu to rename, move, copy, delete and edit your existing files and folders.

Survey files

To manage your survey related files, access the Surveys directory of file manager. Use the tools under the Action menu to rename, move, copy, delete and edit your existing files and folders.

Invitation files

To manage your survey invitation files, access the Invitations directory of file manager. Use the tools under the Action menu to rename, move, copy, delete and edit your existing files and folders.
